Generic Rechargeable Li-ion 3.6 volt CR123 (not protected) Description: These batteries are low priced based on moderate performance, the labels may vary but the cells are new and matched in performance. Some of these are purple and marked 1000mAh, others are blue UltraFire marked 880mAh. Regardless, these cells are accurately described here as relatively low performing unprotected Li-ion CR123. This rechargeable Lithium Ion CR123 battery DOES NOT have an internal regulation IC therefore should be recharged once performance starts to drop off, completely draining the cell will greatly reduce performance or destroy the battery. Minimum voltage before recharging is 2.8v. Measured Capacity: 450mAh at 300mA discharge. This is pretty low in my opinion, therefore the adjusted price. About Capacity: At e-lectronics.net we strive to source good products and then we measure and report actual capacities measured at applicable current loading. Don't be fooled, most all Li-ion cells are over rated by the manufacturers. You will see others marketing rechargeable CR123 batteries rated as high as 1000mAh which is simply false advertising, Li-ion technology is not currently capable of producing capacities that high in a 16340 CR123 battery. At e-lectronics.net we tell it like it is! NOTE: e-lectronics.net sells several different rechargeable CR123 batteries; chargers for each are specific and cannot be interchanged. These particular cells are only to be charged with a CR123 charge which outputs 4.2 volts at a current of 500mA or less.
