Don't be fooled, most all Li-ion cells are over rated by the manufacturers. You will see others marketing rechargeable CR123 batteries rated as high as 1000mAh which is simply false advertising, Li-ion technology is not currently capable of producing capacities that high in a 16340 CR123 battery. These particular cells are only to be charged with a CR123 charge which outputs 4.2 volts at a current of 500mA or less.
