Lithium Iron (Li-FeS2) primary batteries are nominally 1.5 volts with peak voltages of a fresh battery approximately 1.8 volts. Long shelf life, higher capacity and much lighter than Alkaline or Nickel batteries. Environmentally friendly containing no Hg, Cd, or lead.

Lithium batteries last up to 8x longer in todays high demand electronics such as cameras, radios, flashlights, and commonly used in game controllers such as the Nintendo wii. At about 1/3 less weight than alkaline batteries, Lithium are also better performers in extreme weather conditions from -40°F to 140°F, great for sports and hunting.

Li-FeS2 batteries are not rechargeable, attempting to recharge may result in fire, explosion, or personal injury. If you are looking for a 1.5v rechargeable lithium technology battery, e-lectronics is not aware of any rechargeable Lithium based battery chemistry which provides 1.5 volts.
