TRUSTFIRE Protected Lithium Ion 14500 batteries rated at 700mAh. These batteries do have a button top anode, magnetic spacers are not required. Note that industry standard for capacity ratings is typically performed at a low rate of .1C and represents a MAX capacity value. E-lectronics does its best to present the actual performance ratings as well as the manufacturers specified ratings. We have tested these cells under several load conditions including a test at 800mA load which is over a 1C rate and an accurate representation of high demand in flashlight use. The test was performed with a fully charged battery at 4.2v and terminated at 3.0 volts; the capacity results were 600mAh which are very good in our opinion. Testing was performed with a Bantam BC6 analyzer, plotted results can be seen in the product images. e-lectronics.net protected Lithium Ion batteries contain a small circuit board beneath the shrink wrap at the negative end of the battery. Li-ion battery protection is also identified by any of the following: PCB (printed circuit board), PCM (power control module), or IC (internal circuit) which are all terms indicating the cell has an electronic circuit designed to create an open circuit when design specification values of amperage or voltage are exceeded. Operating Specifications: | Nominal operating voltage | 3.6 | | Minimum operating voltage | 3.0 | | Maximum operating voltage | 4.2 | Rated cell capacity [mAh] @.1C
| 700 | | Maximum discharge rate | 1.5C | | Maximum charge rate | 1C | | Cell diameter in millimeters* | 14.65 | | Cell Length in millimeters* | 51.5 |
*- Length and diameter were determined by a random sampling of cells, this table represents the largest measurements from this sampling.
