The VB-16 is a very well designed and constructed Flashlight with excellent throw and side spill. Powered by a wide range of batteries, the VB-16 accepts: 1pc. Li-ion 18650/18670, or 2pcs. Rechargeable CR123 (also known as LIR123 or RCR123), or 2 pcs. primary Lithium CR123 cells. An 18670 protected cells fit in this light with plenty of room to spare. The light output of the VB-16 is adjustable by depressing either of the two buttons near the head of the light. Output is adjusted 16 increments. Adjustement from Low to High can be achieved by depressing and holoding the appropriate button, it takes about 2-3 seconds to adjust the whole range. The measured output of these lights is approximately 125 Lumen on high with fresh batteries, as the batteries deplete output will also reduce. After approximatly 2 hours the output on high setting will fall to approximatly 80 lumens and rapidly drain there after. Run time will also vary depending on the quality and type of batteries used.
