e-lectronics.net Protected 18650 / 18670 Li-ion batteries have a small circuit board also know as (PCB- printed circuit board), PCM (power control module), or IC (internal circuit) which are all terms that indicate the cell has an electronic circuit designed to create an open circuit when design specification values of current or voltage are exceeded. This circuit is located at the negative end of the battery concealed by the PVC shrink wrapping. These batteries are sold individually. Capacity of these cells is about 1900mAh; although not the highest available in the market, these are a great value an priced accordingly. NOTE: These batteries do have raised positive terminals, no spacers or magnets are required. Lithium Ion batteries must only be charged with an approved Li-ion charger and should be charged in a fire proof environment. Damaged cells should be disposed of. Mis-handling of li-ion cells may result in fire or explosion. These protected batteries are not well suited for building packs or rebuilding laptop batteries. If you are looking for Lithium Ion batteries for packs or rebuilding laptop batteries please click here to view these batteries at ALL-Battery. Operating Specifications: | Nominal operating voltage | 3.7 | | Minimum operating voltage | 3.0 | | Maximum operating voltage | 4.2 | | Nominal cell capacity (milli ampere per hour) mAh | 1900 | | Maximum discharge rate | 1.5C | | Maximum charge rate | 1C | | Cell diameter in millimeters* | 18.5 | | Cell Length in millimeters* | 68 |
*- Length and diameter were determined by a random sampling of cells, this table represents the largest measurements from this sampling.
