This service is to replace the electrolytic capacitors on the analog board and the onboard lithium memory battery in a ZOOM 9050 effects processor. The 9050 has a unique battery with welded mounting tabs for circuit board through hole mounting. This will be replaced with a battery socket and new SONY 2032 battery. If your battery is not completely dead and you have patches, I can usually save these while replacing the battery although there is some chance they will be lost so if you have any really important patch settings, write them down!

This service assumes the unit turns on and passes some level of audio signal. If your 9050 does not power on or has other issues, I will still look at it and assess the issue (no charge for bench checks). If I can identify the cause of the issue, I will provide a quote for that additional repair before proceeding. In the event the circuit board is damaged beyond repair from leaking capacitors which is not uncommon and is a great reason to have your 9050 capacitors replaced before they destroy the circuit board, there is no charge for the bench evaluation. You will only be responsible for return shipping costs.
