This service is to replace the electrolytic capacitors on the analog board and the onboard lithium memory battery in a ZOOM 9030 effects processor. If your battery is not completely dead and you have patches, I can usually save these while replacing the battery although there is some chance they will be lost so if you have any really important patch settings, write them down!

This service assumes the unit turns on and passes some level of audio signal. If your 9030 does not power on or has other issues, I will still look at it and assess the issue (no charge for bench checks). If I can identify the cause of the issue, I will provide a quote for that additional repair before proceeding. In the event the circuit board is damaged beyond repair from leaking capacitors which is not uncommon and is a great reason to have your 9030 capacitors replaced before they destroy the circuit board, there is no charge for the bench evaluation. You will only be responsible for return shipping costs.
